Kitchen Respraying

What will be the charges for respraying a kitchen?

Before giving you an estimate, we will calculate the number and size of drawers, cabinet doors, and other sections of your kitchen. Another deciding factor is the finish that you choose. A low sheen finish will cost you less, but a 100% wet-look high gloss will cost you more. On average, you can expect £1200 and above or from £40 per door + work on site. However, please note that this price can change depending on many factors. We will be able provide an accurate quote after analysing the project.

Is there a way to lower the expenses?

Indeed, rather than going for the high-end finish, choose one that is durable, lasts longer, and will be less time-consuming, for example, satin and matt finish. Additionally, you can think of spraying only the outer side of the doors and drawers, the visible parts. By doing this, you will save up to 20%. You can take out the fronts on your own and drop them at our office; this will save some cost as well.

Will you provide me with an estimate?

Yes, we will share an affordable estimate with you so that you can think about it. Additionally, you can tell us about your budget; this will let us provide you with the best options in that budget.

How long will you take to complete the task?

The time it takes will mostly depend on how many items we have to spray and whether we are working on-site or at our warehouse. We understand that you will want the doors and other things to be removed, painted, and refitted as soon as possible, but on average, we can return and refit in one day.

If you need to work on-site, how will things work?

In the case of on-site kitchen spray painting, we will try to minimise disruptions as much as possible and we will try to split our work into two visits.

Visit 1: We will begin our work by removing the unit handles and fronts. Collect pelmets, plinths, cover panels, and other removable elements. Then we will prepare the area for work. After that, we will start spray painting and complete the work. Please be advised that this visit one is going to be a full-day work.

Visit 2: 5 to 10 days after the first visit we will return to your place with all the parts that we have taken to spray paint.

Will you give me any colour choices to colour the kitchen cabinets?

J&D understands that you will want the best colours for your kitchen. That’s why we have paints from leading brands, for example, F&B, RAL, Johnstone, Little Greene, Dulux, and much more.

Each colour can be mixed in the following sheen levels:

Flat Matt: 10% sheen

Matt: 20% sheen

Eggshell: 30% sheen

Satin: 40% sheen

Semi-Gloss: 50-70% sheen

High Gloss: 80-90% sheen

You can tell us which colour you want to go for and if you need our advice to choose one, simply let us know.

How do I get started?

The best way to get started with a kitchen spray painting job is to give us a call and tell us about the number of side panels, doors, and drawers you have that need painting. If possible, please do share some photos of them. Tell us about the colour and sheen you want to go for. After that, we will share a cost-effective and transparent quote and from there we will start working.

UPVC Spraying

How much does UPVC spraying cost?

We will need to ask you some questions before we can give you an accurate quote on spray painting windows, doors, conservatories and garages. After all, the cost of UPVC spraying differs depending on these details. We will need to ask you questions such as how many windows and openers are there? How many glass sections are there? We will also require some photos so that we know whether there are any special requirements which can change the cost. Photos of each elevation are necessary in this case. We can then email you with a quote once we have this information.

When it comes to prices, we do offer a price match on certain factors that have affected the quote. Remember, if there are any extras such as soffits and fascias that need spray painting these can be added for an extra cost. We can also paint around dorma windows for an additional cost.
