The project involved spray painting the existing aluminum frames of windows and entrance doors at the Gyle Shopping Centre. Some of the doors had already been painted previously, but the surface was not smooth as is typically the case with powder coating. The previously applied paint had a poor texture and was starting to peel in some areas. We had to completely remove the old coating using a paint stripper. Once stripped, all surfaces were sanded to achieve a smooth finish.

Afterwards, the surfaces were thoroughly degreased and then spray-painted twice using special 2K paints in a white color, carefully matched to the original shade to ensure long-lasting durability. The work was carried out in phases during night shifts to avoid disruption.
