In March 2022, we completed a bespoke furniture restoration and spray painting project at a property on Broughton Street in Edinburgh. The job included a full respray of a bureau, a small storage unit, and two chairs, transforming each piece with bold, characterful colours from Farrow & Ball.

The bureau and chairs were refinished in India Yellow – a deep, earthy mustard shade that brings a warm and classic touch to any interior. The small unit was spray painted in Charlotte’s Locks, a vivid, modern orange-red that creates a striking contrast and serves as a perfect accent.

All items were carefully prepared through thorough cleaning, sanding, and any required minor repairs. Each piece was then professionally spray painted using high-quality materials to ensure a flawless and durable finish. This project showcases how spray painting can revive traditional furniture with a contemporary twist, blending heritage craftsmanship with vibrant, modern colour palettes.
