For this project, we carried out a full restoration of an MDF kitchen that had originally been partially covered with laminate. As clearly visible in the photos, the laminate was peeling off most of the cabinet fronts. To prevent this issue from recurring in the future, we removed all the laminate using a heat gun.

Once stripped, each door was primed twice and sanded between coats to ensure maximum adhesion and a perfectly smooth surface for spray painting.

Scope of work included:

• Removal of peeling laminate from 37 kitchen elements

• Priming and spray painting all cabinets and doors in Little Greene Canton (40% satin sheen)

• Resurfacing of splashback and kitchen worktops using Spray Granite

The splashback and worktops were refinished with a RAL 9001 Cream base coat, followed by the application of Granite Flakes No. 51, giving them a durable and stylish stone-like finish.

The final result?
A refreshed, modern kitchen with a clean, professional finish – not only visually stunning but also highly resistant to daily wear and tear.
