As part of this project, we professionally spray painted a staircase balustrade in a crisp white finish. The process began with full protection of all surrounding surfaces, followed by deep sanding of every component to remove old coatings and prepare the wood for optimal adhesion.

All elements were thoroughly degreased and primed, after which we carefully filled and smoothed any imperfections. To achieve the highest possible finish, we applied an additional coat of primer and sanded once more for a flawlessly smooth surface.

We also addressed a common issue when painting timber white – the appearance of visible joints and grain lines. Using a specialised acrylic filler, we sealed all wood joins and dark grain lines to ensure a clean, uniform result.

Finally, we applied two coats of PU topcoat, providing a durable, hard-wearing finish that will stay pristine for years to come.
